Delivery correct parts (clean date)
A date can be entered in sections D3 and D6 for “delivery correct parts (clean date)”. The date indicates when correct/error-free parts will again be delivered to customers once all containment actions (in D3) or corrective actions (in D6) are implemented.
As soon as a D3 action (or D6 action) has been implemented (i.e. the actual implementation date has been entered), the date for “delivery correct parts (clean date)” can be entered.
The following conditions apply for the date for “delivery correct parts (clean date)”.
- The “delivery correct parts (clean date)” date in step D3 must not occur before the actual implementation date of the D3 action with the oldest actual implementation date.
- The “delivery correct parts (clean date)” date in step D6 must not occur before the actual implementation date of the D6 action with the oldest actual implementation date.
The dates entered in steps D3 and D6 are not linked with one another.
It is generally not possible to delete date information once it has already been entered and submitted.
After the complaint status “Completed by supplier” is set, the date
- can no longer be changed in section D3.
- can still be changed in section D6.
After the complaint status “Closed by supplier” is set, the date in section D6 cannot be changed anymore.
D4 and risk assessment
A risk assessment can be specified in section D4. The supplier can enter information on the potentially erroneous batches/deliveries and defective quantities sent to the customer. The risk assessment can be filled several times, using one row for each assessment result.
It is generally not possible to delete the rows once they have already been entered and submitted. However, the content of these fields can still be changed.
After the complaint status “Completed by supplier” is set, the risk assessment cannot be changed anymore.
The customer can provide a comment on each row.
D4 and reproducing errors
The supplier can enter whether and when an error was successfully reproduced in section D4.
Please note:
- If it was possible to reproduce the error, the “Reproduction date” and “Person responsible” have to be entered.
- The actual reproduction date may not be in the future.
- If it was not possible to reproduce the error, at least one reason must be given.
- Information already submitted can no longer be deleted.
- After the complaint status “Closed by supplier” is set, the error reproduction information cannot be changed anymore.
The customer can provide a comment on the error reproduction.
D6 and cancellation of containment actions
The supplier can state when the D3 containment actions can be canceled in section D6. This should ensure the error is avoided in the long term.
Please note:
- Information already submitted can no longer be deleted.
- After the complaint status “Closed by supplier” is set, the cancellation information cannot be changed anymore.
