In the ASN data entry mask, you can select ASN items and enter or change the delivery note and article data.
To enter or change the data for an ASN, do the following:
- When you create an ASN, you must first assign the ASN number and an ASN date.
- You then add the ASN items. If you create a new ASN from the “Planned shipments” overview, SupplyOn automatically proposes the reference numbers and the quantities. If you create an ASN using “Extra shipment”, the list is empty at first and you can import delivery notes using the “New item” function or enter information manually.
- Confirm the items you want to add to the ASN. Enter a delivery note number, delivery note item and delivery note date for each ASN item.
- Enter data in the remaining fields such as batch number, change index of the design and the net weight. Please ensure that all mandatory fields have been completed.

Notes
- Mandatory fields are colored yellow. No entries can be made in greyed-out fields.
- If so configured in the Supply Chain Directory (SCD), the ASN number and date are defaulted automatically. But both fields may be changed if necessary.
- Unconfirmed items are automatically deleted from the ASN after confirmation. If you mark all individual items as unconfirmed, this function can also be used to delete the complete ASN.
- Please note that the batch number can also be entered when packing the ASN items. Note that batch numbers specified at the packaging level take precedence over batch numbers assigned at item level.
- If you enter the net weight per article, you make it possible for the system to automatically calculate the net and gross weight of a shipment.
- All other ASN item information is automatically added by the system and cannot be changed.
- The “traffic light” indicates whether the master data have been entered.
- The “Pack. status” traffic light indicates the current packing status of the item.
