Creating an FPA /ASN

In order to create a forwarder pickup advice, navigate from the start page “Logistics and Finances” via “FPA (Transport Management)” from screen to screen until the last step “Complete FPA”. Depending on the settings of the buying company it is possible that not all of the following sub-processes for creating an FPA are necessary and not all screens are visible. At each time during the creation you can validate you data or save it and continue to edit it later.

In order to create an advanced shipping notification you chose the menu entry “ASN (Transport Management)” → “Create ASN (based on FPA)”. There you select an FPA and click on the button “Create ASN”. In the ASN you will find all data from the FPA. Depending on the settings of the buying company it is possible that not all following sub-processes are necessary and not all pages are visible.

In order to create an advance shipping notification, please choose the menu entry “ASN (New)” / “Create ASN”. Select the customer destination for the shipment and click on the button “Create ASN”. In the ASN you will find all due ASN material positions. Alternatively you can chose a customer destination and click on the link in the column “ASN required” if you want to select the material first and create the ASN afterwards.
