Project Definition
What is NGTM?
NGTM is an acronym for the project called Next Generation Transport Management
project at Robert Bosch TMC.
What will be the changes in relation to the NGTM project?
The target of the NGTM project is to replace the current 4Flow Transport Management System (TMS) with a SupplyOn integrated TMS called EuroLog to strengthen the
integration of transport and materials management.
What is the scope of the NGTM project?
The scope of the project is Overland Inbound, Outbound and Plant-to-Plant shipments of all European Robert Bosch plants that are contracted with the Transport Management
Center Budapest.
Is the registration/usage of the SupplyOn-EuroLog platform free?
Yes, the registration/usage of the SupplyOn-EuroLog platform is free of charge.
Other than the new EuroLog TMS, will anything else change related to the operational shipment-related tasks?
No, only the Transport Management System will change. In case of operational questions/issues TMC ( TMC_EU@bosch.com) will remain the single point of contact.
The official tendering platform of Bosch TMC, called iSource, will also stay the same.
What connection types will be used for information exchange, status updates, document uploading between the new TMS and
the LSP?
Carriers will be connected via 2 options:
- Bosch EDI-Manager: after the direct EDI-connection is set up, the carrier will receive IFCSUM message as soon as the load has been released and assigned
- SupplyOn Webportal: as a fallback scenario (or if there is no EDI connection existing), carriers need to be registered for the Webportal-connection with SupplyOn in order to view the loads, change the status of loads, upload documents, participate in the SPOT process
When and how will I receive the transport assignments?
As a standard cutoff time, 16:00 (CET) is the latest time when assignments are sent out for the following pick up day.
In case the cutoff is contractually agreed differently, the contracted terms apply.
How can I get support in case I have problems with the SupplyOn-EuroLog platform?
If you have any problems with the SupplyOn/EuroLog platform, please contact the SupplyOn Customer Support team, via the following link: https://contact.supplyon.com/en/
In case of daily logistical issues/questions, please turn to EU TMC ( TMC_EU@bosch.com).

What is the meaning of the statuses in the EuroLog TMS, when do I have to set them in the system?
Status name | Status definition | Timing for status setting |
---|---|---|
Carrier notification | Status update to transport with special information to Bosch out of the regular status codes e.g.: in case of any deviation with the transportation (with reason codes), truck plate number info, etc | Real time information about the respective event E.g.: Truck plate number: before the Load is being collected In case of deviations: real time status setting is required |
Collected | Shipment has been picked up by LSP | Until following working day 09.00 CET after Load is collected |
Delivered | Shipment has been delivered at destination | Until following working day 09.00 CET after Load is delivered |
Document info | Specific document upload e.g. POD | Depending on the document type e.g.: POD upload: within 14 calendar days after Load's planned delivery date |
HUB in | HUB shipment only - LSP arrived with the goods at HUB location | Until following working day 09.00 CET after LSP has arrived at HUB |
HUB out | HUB shipment only - LSP left HUB location with the goods | Until following working day 09.00 CET after LSP has left the HUB |
Migration
When will my routes be migrated to the new EuroLog TMS?
You will receive a “pre-notice” letter about the go-live calendar week for the transport mode that is relevant for your company. After that the Implementation Team will send
you a detailed route list containing the exact go-live date for each route.
Please note that there can be cases where some of your routes will be managed in the current iNet TMS and some of your routes will be managed in the new EuroLog TMS.
Do I have to use the iNet TMS and the EuroLog TMS as well?
You will receive the information about the migration of the routes from the Implementation Team. Until the migration go-live date of the routes, the iNet TMS has to
be used. After the go-live date, the EuroLog TMS will be used.
Please note that there can be cases where some of your routes will be managed in the current iNet TMS and some of your routes will be managed in the new EuroLog TMS.
EDI
If I would like to use the EDI connection for NGTM, who should I turn to?
Please indicate your willingness to set up the EDI connection to the colleagues at TMC, and the EDI implementation team will get in touch with you.
If the EDI connection fails, how can I provide the status updates?
As a fallback scenario, carriers need to be registered for the Webportal-connection with SupplyOn in order to view the loads, change the status of loads, upload documents,
participate in the SPOT process.
