Deleting open ASNs

To delete one or more open ASNs, proceed as follows:

  1. Choose on the left the open ASNs you want to delete.
  2. Click the “Delete open ASNs” button”. Confirm that you wish to delete.
  3. Your open ASNs are deleted.

Notes

  • Please note that deletion of ASNs is only possible in the case of open ASNs.

Copying and combining ASNs

To copy and combine one or more ASNs to create a new open ASN, do the following:

  1. Choose on the left the ASNs you want to copy or combine.
  2. Click the “Copy or combine” button. A new combined ASN is created. The original ASNs are given the status “used”, and the new combined ASN is automatically saved and given the status “copied”.

    Displaying delivery note items

    To display the delivery note items for one or more ASNs, do the following:

    1. Choose on the left the ASNs for which you want to see the delivery note items.
    2. Click the “Delivery note items” button”. SupplyOn then shows you the delivery note items.

    Notes:

    • Please note that you can only select up to five ASNs at one time.

    Viewing/editing ASN details

    To view or edit the details of an ASN, proceed as follows:

    1. Choose the ASN you want to view or edit from the ASN overview list on the left.
    2. After you click the “View/edit ASN details” button, you will be taken to the complete overview or the ASN creation screen.
    3. Alternatively, by clicking on the underlined ASN number in the ASN overview you will be taken directly to the complete overview or the ASN creation screen.

      ASN received

      To set the status of one or more submitted ASNs to received, proceed as follows:

      1. Choose on the left the submitted ASNs for which you want to set the status to “received”.
      2. Click the “ASN received” button”.
      3. The received ASNs are given the status “closed”.

      • Please note that only submitted ASNS can be set to received.

      Creating an ASN for an extra shipment

      To create an ASN for an extra shipment, do the following:

      1. Decide for which recipient you want to create an ASN for an extra shipment. First, in the checkbox left of the “Extra shipment” button, choose the desired combination of organization, plant and unloading point, and your own shipping plant if applicable.
      2. After you click the “Extra shipment” button, the ASN creation process is started in which you can define the exact scope of the shipment.

      Creating an ASN for a planned shipment

      To create an ASN for a planned shipment, do the following:

      1. Decide for which planned shipment you want to create an ASN and mark this row on the left-hand side.
      2. Decide up to which date you want to view the open requirements.
      3. Click the “Planned shipment” button”. The ASN creation process is started in which you can define the exact scope of the shipment on the basis of the proposed reference numbers and quantities.

        Summary

        The “Create ASN” tab is the starting point for creating an ASN for a shipment.




        There are two ways to create an ASN for a new shipment:

        Planned shipment: You can plan a shipment for a particular date on the basis of purchase orders, a dummy order, scheduled receipts for VMI, test part orders, delivery instructions or call offs. The system automatically proposes the reference numbers and quantities to be delivered.
