Why is my company receiving this letter or request?
In today´s digital world, master data plays an important role in process flows. In order to process those effectively and efficiently, it is necessary that your customers always have up-to-date data from you.
SupplyOn offers the opportunity to optimize this process as well as to distribute your data to all of your customers after only a single input by you.
This survey initiated by your customers and implemented by SupplyOn, is addressed to all suppliers with whom we manage processes electronically via SupplyOn, such as RfQ´s, complaints (8D reports), or logistical processes (vendor-managed inventory, WebEDI). The IATF 16949 certification also required transparency of your certificates in the supply chain. This is an important part of the query.
Why do I personally receive this message?
Your User ID is registered in SupplyOn as a Company Administrator or as a sales contact.
I am the wrong contact. How can I forward this task to the right person in my company?
In order for a colleague of your company to have access to this survey, a SupplyOn user ID is required for this person with the relevant roles and rights.

Why was my colleague invited to participate in the survey and not me?
The Survey is provided to SupplyOn users who have the required roles. The following role is required to receive surveys: BusinessDirectorySellerStandard. If your company does not have a user with the corresponding roles or if the customer requests this, the Company Admin can also be invited to the survey.
Why are several locations of my company group invited to the same survey?
This survey initiated by your customers and implemented by SupplyOn, is addressed to all suppliers with whom we manage processes electronically via SupplyOn.
My company is currently not delivering products to Bosch, Continental, Schaeffler or ZF. Why am I still asked to participate?
Since the company data, contact person information and certificates are also important and necessary for future business relations, SupplyOn strongly recommends you on behalf of your customers to correctly and completely answer the questionnaire.
The company's guidelines don't permit to answer such questionnaires and prohibits the insertion of information in portals.
We understand the original background of your company's guidelines. However, it would lead to disadvantages regarding future business relationships with your customers, if modern purchase processes and methods are not supported sufficiently. The optimization of process efficiency and effectiveness on all sites make these questionnaires necessary. Please revise your company's guidelines concerning this matter.
What is the advantage for my company when we participate in the survey?
By providing your information electronically, centrally and only once, you contribute to improving the efficiency of our communications. We also have up-to-date data, which is available to all buyers worldwide. Interfaces to SupplyOn ensure a full automatic transfer of the provided data. The benefit for you as a supplier is that you only need to provide data once in the SupplyOn portal, but making it available to several of your customers.
What happens if the survey is not answered?
Correct supplier contact information (e.g. Product Safety Expert) as well as company information are necessary e.g. in order to ensure the correct routing of official information. Supplier certification is also of great importance and defines a minimum requirement that is expected by you.
Not responding to the survey and not maintaining supplier master data on the platform may have impacts on your supplier rating and further sourcing decisions.
Only responses within SupplyOn Business Directory are valid, responses via email or a different channel cannot be counted.
Please make sure that you do not only safe your entries as a draft, but that you send them.
I have already been requested to fill a survey on product safety within the last year. Why do I receive an invitation again?
Please note that in this survey, additional information, e.g. certificates, will be asked for. Fields that have already been filled by you in the past will be prefilled in this survey. In case you have not processed the previous survey yet, it is sufficient to only answer the new survey.
Is this survey a one-time initiative?
Supplier master data in general, correct contact information from various contacts as well as basic company information and certification are the prerequisite for a successful and efficient cooperation. These requirements demand continuous maintenance and improvement.
Subsequent to this survey, the up-to-datedness is checked by an automated control process, e.g. the dispatch of automated reminder emails is controlled via the validity of certificates.
