Substitute" tab"

In the “Substitute” tab you grant colleagues access to your data in the system. The colleagues you set up are then able to represent you, when you are absent for example.

It may make sense to restrict the substitution to a particular period of time so that substitutes can only access the data and processes in the system during your absence. If the drop-down “Send E-Mails” is set to “yes”, your substitute also receives all SupplyOn e-mails that are addressed to you.

Service settings" tab"

As SupplyOn-Administrator at your company, in addition to assigning roles for a user, you can also enable the user to access process-specific data in the “Service settings” tab. You must first assign the user the respective role before you can further edit the user in the service settings. Several entries or no entries at all may be visible in the service settings. Assuming you possess the respective roles, here you can manage teams, customer responsibles or the settings for the Supply Chain Directory (SCD).

Roles" tab "

Click on the “Expand” link to show all the available roles within a role group. Now choose the roles you want to assign or withdraw.

If a particular role is available for different companies, you will see the “Show companies” link. Click on this link to show all the companies to which you have access as SupplyOn administrator.

Master data" tab"

The “Master data” tab contains the user's data. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*). You can see the contact data, further information or the status of the last change:

  • Under “Language” you can set the language in which the SupplyOn services are displayed.
  • Make sure you set the time zone correctly: In the case of critical processes such as bids, this will mean, for example, that you see the correct start and finish times.

Service settings

As SupplyOn-Administrator at your company, in addition to assigning roles for a user, you can also enable the user to access process-specific data in the “Service settings” tab. You must first assign the user the respective role before you can further edit the user in the service settings.
