Definition of the different process keys in SupplyOn VMI:
• IPR: Articles that are supplied using the demand-driven IPR process -> IPR = Inventory PRrojection. The article is only displayed in the IPR materials table in VMI.
The demand and inventory information transmitted by the buyer are the significant values for the planning. Based on these values the projected inventory is being calculated, which is then the basis for the planned receipts. The suggested quantity for the ASN creation is being calculated using the saved planned receipts.
• RPM: Articles that are supplied using the consumption-based RPM process -> RPM = Replenishment Planning Monitor. The article is displayed in the RPM materials table; additionally the article is displayed in the IPR materials table in order to be able to view the demand projection for information purpose. The inventory information transmitted by the buyer and the agreed minimum and maximum inventory are the significant values for the planning. The suggested quantity for the ASN creation is adopted from the net delivery quantity.
• VMI: Articles with this process key are shown in the RPM materials and IPR materials table in VMI. The suggested quantity for the ASN creation is being calculated using the saved planned receipts.
• NONVMI: The article was created via a Non-VMI message (e.g. purchase order or delivery instruction)
