XML (Extensible Markup Language) is a markup language for representing hierarchically structured data in the form of text files. XML files are preferably used for the exchange of data between different IT systems, such as quality management systems, and can be imported into your IT system if an interface is available. The Problem Solver XML file is based on the VDA QDX standard version 2.0. Further information on the QDX format and legal conditions can be found here.
Schema files & field description
A schema file defines the allowed structure and enables an XML file check. You can use one of your own IT interfaces for the implementation.
Note: Login to SupplyOn is required to open the files.
Download complaint as XML file
Via "Download complaint as XML file", suppliers can download the customers' complaint data as an XML file and save it on their computer.
Download 8D report as XML file
Click on this link to download the 8D report entered by the supplier as an XML file and save it on your computer. Please note that the download only includes the data last sent to the customer. This is also the case when you download an 8D report that has been saved as a draft.
Upload 8D report as XML file
If you as a supplier want to upload an 8D report in QDX XML format directly into the Problem Solver, please click on this link. Select the file from your computer. The data will be applied to the opened complaint. It is recommended to check the uploaded data for completeness before sending.
